It was a beautiful sunny day - perfect for a Spring fair! Hundreds of punters like myself descended upon Islington’s Business Centre to shop until we (quite literally) dropped!

The stands were stunning and every available apple crate, shelf, cupboard and stool was stacked high with goodies. The choice was tremendous, from food to bathroom accessories it was all under this glass roof. I was particularly impressed with Field and Flower, I made a pledge to try their medium meat box next week…

I was also very excited to come across the Thornback and Peel stand, their website had run out of tea towels at Christmas so I took the opportunity to stock up with a rabbit one and samples of their jelly wallpaper (to brighten up a hall wall, fingers crossed!)

All of this spending and really it was a small mission - to check out stand organisation. You see I had a secret… The person sitting by the stand will be me in a matter of months! Charlotte Macey Textiles and myself will be sharing a spot at the Christmas Fair! Whoop! So off we go in search of colour schemes, vintage storage and a long trip to Homebase… wish us luck!
