INFORMATION

Individually required illustrations and personalisation of items are available upon request. Each are individually priced, dependent on the work required. I charge an hourly rate for my drawing work plus £10 per A3 sheet of the transfer designs to be produced.

Messages can be placed on the base of each item at an average price of £6. This creates a slightly longer lead time for making the order. I always provide an estimated delivery time upon ordering and ensure that the design is approved by the customer via email before the item is created.

ROYAL WEDDING MUG 2011

This hand decorated mug was made from slip cast earthenware. Purple coloured slip is applied before the glaze and the digital transfers are long lasting. The decoration is based on the past times of Kate and William. Included within the design is a corgi dog, blue engagement ring, RAF plane and a variety of crowns. Each drawing was originally created by using pen and ink.

Both Kate and William’s full titles are used on either side of the mug and the date of their wedding is clearly written to the front. Gold lustre adds a decadent touch.

LIONS OF BATH 2010, ‘PORCELION

Part of ‘The Lions of Bath’ Project 2010. I was sponsored by Bath & North East Somerset Council. The lion is permanently displayed in the Guildhall Chambers, Bath.

This was produced as a collaboration between Professor Li Leiying of Jiangxi, China and myself.

Porcelion was commissioned as a gesture of friendship between the World Heritage City of Bath and Jiangxi Province, China. The original design was created in Jiangxi and sent to Bath for me to paint on to the sleek contours of one side of the lion. I found great inspiration using the design to create my own interpretation on the other side of the piece. The commission also included the decoration of a replica mini-lion which was presented to the delegation and has since been transported to China to start his new life in Jiangxi.
