This unique foraging diary has been created to inspire you to forage throughout the year, connecting to all the nutritious wild food that can be discovered growing all around us. It not only reminds you what to look out for each month but has space to document your findings throughout the year. This diary has been a collaboration with Liz Knight, forager, teacher and author of Forage: Plants to Gather, Cook and Eat as well as other fantastic guest foragers.
EACH MONTH WILL INCLUDE
An introduction to the month from Liz along with a list of plants to look out for.
An illustrated recipe or seasonal tea blend from Liz
An illustrated guest recipe or project idea
A blank notes page, with illustration
A full page design will be included where months have more than 4 weeks.
Dates for the phases of the moon, bank holidays and seasonal festivals.
The diary is A5 in size, printed with eco inks on sustainably sourced paper. The pages are printed on 150gsm recycled paper and cover will be 295gsm card from agricultural waste fibre and finished off with fabric spine detail.
Please note the illustrations created for this diary are stylised and should not be used for identification purposes. There are plenty of useful identification books out there, some of which are included in the resources page in the diary.
