Say bon-voyage to single use beverage cups with these eco-friendly stoneware travel mugs hand made by Kara Leigh Ford.
Each handmade travel mug was thrown on Kara’s potter's wheel. Made from stoneware clay it is strong and durable. When the mug is partially dried the base is fettled and her potter’s mark added. Once bone dry it is fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. She decorates the mug with a speckle white ‘Seas Salt’ glaze and warm matt mocha grey glaze - on the outside and glossy transparent on the inside. It is high fired to 1222 degrees centigrade for 24 hours in her kiln.
Every batch is slightly different so please ensure you read the dimensions before ordering. Each mug is unique and the mug one you receive will vary slightly from the one pictured.
The mug comes with pink or grey silicone lid. Silicone is made from Silica - not plastic and does not derive from the petrochemical industry. Choose your colour lid when placing your order.
