This collection has been inspired by the beach huts that line the south coast, particularly a special set I found in Dorset. I was delivering some work to an exhibition and after lunch I took a short walk with an ice lolly to find the beach. There were only a few huts above the sandy strip but they were very individual. With interesting weather vanes, painted in stripes and adorned with wooden numbers for identification they all had their own character. The ice lolly I ate that day is hidden at the base of each piece on the inside too!
This is a very large jug, great for holding water on the family table or orange juice on a Sunday. I also tend to use this size for large posies of flowers.
Dishwasher safe, though it must be pointed out that the silver dots of lustre may lose their shine over time as this form of washing is abrasive to them.
